We’re counting down the days until 2021. Let’s say goodbye to 2020 with some good quality movement. Get outside and move. The sunlight will do you some good. While today is cold, it will be sunny so get outside and enjoy the day.

Stamina day: Move at an easy pace –

25 AMRAP of : 400 m run (or 2.5 min of choice cardio), 50 ft of bear crawl (length of 1 stick of hose), 8 push ups, 6 mountain climbers).

Low aerobic intensity level. Crank up the holiday tunes for one last day and just keep moving.

Health tip: Vitamin D is hard to come by in the winter months. Many of us are low on this essential vitamin during the winter months simply because we get outside less and soak up less sunshine. We get most of our Vitamin D from the sunlight but we can also consume it in some foods (fortified milk, spinach, salmon, egg yolks, canned tuna and mushrooms). Why not just get out and get some free Vitamin D from the sun today though? Vitamin D is important to calcium absorption (thing strong bones), cardiovascular disease prevention and is essential to healthy brain function as we age.
